THE TURKS ARE LIARS!!!!!! THERE WAS AND ARMENIAN GENOCIDE AND THEY DID IT. 1.5 MILLION WERE MASSACRED AND NO ONE CARES. NO ONE KNOWS THE PAIN IT HAS CAUSED. TURKISH PEOPLE ARE FILTHY DISGUSTING LIARS. IF IT HAPPENED TO THEM, THEY WOULDNT BE STRONG ENOUGH TO CONTINUE AND PROVE EVERYONE WRONG. THE ARMENIANS HAVE SURVIVED FOR 90 YEARS.

Has there ever been an academic discussion about this situation?It is not even allowed in some irrational countries like Switzerland and France.

This is a nightmare where you blame a whole nation thoughtlessly.I see that my parents and grandparents sucked at politics but these are going to change.

I have studied Turkish history and their dealings with Christians. There is no doubt in my mind that the Turks, who constantly deny the genocide of the Christian in that country, are consummate liars.
Why do they insist their country did not kill millions of Christians? One reason I can see is MONEY! The Turks will (as they most certainty should) have to pay billions in reparations to the Greeks, Assyrians and Armenians whom they, (the Turkish government) murdered.
Aiding in the Turkish lie and denial are various businesses that wish to garner Turkish favor to do business in that nation. Some of the life insurance companies definately benefit from the Turkish lies and denial. Certain life insurance companies will owe billions to Armenian and other Christian families who lost relatives during one of the most horrific killing sprees that occurred in 1922 in Smyrna (now called Izmar). To this dad the Turks now living in that former Christian city celebrate the time when “the blood of the infidel (Christians and likely Jews) flowed in the streets…”
The Turks have insisted that these crimes against humanity and the Christian communities in Smyrna were all the result of war (in which case the insurance companies would not have to pay). But history has proven that the Turkish government’s claim is a total falsehood. One of many sources witnessing this period of pure genocide is Ambassador George Horton, then American Charge de Affairs from the US State Department. Horton was an eyewitness to the mass murders of the Christian communities in Smyrna in 1922. He reported these crimes against humanity his book titled “The Blight of Asia”. Horton details how Turkish civilians carried out acts of pure genocide against the Christian communities. There are many other similar independent reports of Turkish acts of genocide against the Christian communities. Another great source of these crimes by the Turkish government is a book by Bat Ye`or (at the Hudson Institute in Washington, DC) titled: “The Decline of Eastern Christianity under Islam: From Jihad to Dhimmitude”
To this day there is an ever present persecution of Christians and other minorities living in Turkey.
I am a high school student doing a video project on the armenian genocide. my group agrees that the genocide of the armenians was very real and that turkey continues to deny it. However, we are unable to find any information as to why the turks continuesly deny the genocide. Does any body know why the turks continue to deny this genocide so very adamently? I would apreciate any help via email that you can offer. thank you.

if the turks didn’t commit this horrible genocide why does the European Council, European Parliament, and countries all over the world testify to it and even pass LAWS that punish DENIAL. The psychosis of the turkish government is DUE only to the real TRUTH that they DID COMMIT GENOCIDE OF 1.5 MILLION ARMENIANS OUT OF 2 MILLION WHICH LEFT ALIVE ONLY 500,000. THAT IS VERY CLEARLY GENOCIDE. FURTHERMORE, IF THEY DIDN’T DO IT……….WHY DON’T THEY ALLOW FREE DEBATE ON THE SUBJECT OR ARCHEOLOGICAL STUDIES TO RESEARCH THE AREAS WHERE THEY ALLEGEDLY COMMITTED THESE MASS MURDERS???????
